India deserved better.

For years, intimate wellness in India meant expensive foreign imports, uncertain customs delays, or low-quality products wrapped in shame. There was no trusted Indian brand that spoke plainly, delivered discreetly, and actually stood behind its products.

Vishal is a serial entrepreneur with investments in over 20 companies spanning D2C, food supplements, cosmetics, and consumer health. His deep background in nutraceutical and cosmetics manufacturing is what gave Calmras its most important product edge: a fragrance-free, water-based personal lubricant formulated to the same standards as premium skincare — not a synthetic, itching-prone afterthought like most competitors in the market.

As Joint Secretary at TiE Chandigarh and a builder of the North India D2C ecosystem, Vishal's understanding of the Indian consumer is not theoretical. He was also among the very first entrepreneurs to crack Cash on Delivery for intimate wellness products in India — at a time when most buyers were paying premium prices for foreign products stuck at customs. He democratised the category.
